How to use:
Step 1: Take a small sample of air conditioning oil.
Step 2: Add the sample to the test solution and shake well.
Step 3: Compare the resulting color with the color scale provided to determine the acidity level.
Results:
Purple or blue: Low acidity level, no need to worry.
Green: Medium pH level, system needs to be checked.
Yellow: High pH level, problem needs to be corrected immediately.
Instructions:
Pick up a small amount (ml) of lubricant from the system
Pour 2 ml of POE or 4 ml of any other lubricant into a container
Tightly screw the cap on and shake the container contents vigorously for a few seconds
Watch the color change:
- If purple or blue - the lubricant has a low pH level. No intervention required
- If green - the lubricant has a medium pH level. Intervention required to correct system conditions.
- If yellow - the lubricant has a high pH level. Vigorous correction and even a general check are required to solve other possible problems.
